Both the browser and the app are incredibly different for one the app is on a mobile devise and the browser is on a computer and the computer has a web page edit section they both have post.
On the web page itself has addon's. I would use the browser instead of the app tho if i were away from a computer and have my Ipad i can still log on to my blog and post things from my mobile devise
